History

The Decimal Network Standard System Workgroup (DNSS Workgroup) set up for the new integrated Internet R&D. With the fruit  of DDNS feasibility demonstrate and DDNS Resolution System and on the base of IPv4 & IPv6, we issued IPv9 Specification.

Oct.2001, MII set up the "DNSS Workgroup" in Shanghai. Shanghai Institute of Universal Chemical Technology is the leader of the workgroup, in charge of framing the specifications of Decimal Network.

2002.7.31, the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) promulgated the code of "Domain Name System Standard" as the standard for electronics industry.

Jul.2003, the President of Korea visited China. DNSS & DDNS is one of the 2 selected projects for the technology session.

Aug.2003, MII and State Administration of Taxation declared that "DDNS Specification" is one of the standards for taxation system.

Dec.2003, Shanghai Institute of Universal Chemical Technology submit 6 GB specifications of DNSS & DDNS (IPv9) to MII and  Standardization Administration of China.

2004, DNSS won the gold prize from MII.

2004.6.25, the workgroup held the "New Internet & Decimal Network Technology Proseminar" in Zhejiang University.

2004.7.28, Shanghai Institute of Universal Chemical Technology and POSDATA Co.,Ltd (Korea) signed the Int'l cooperation agreement about "VOIP application on DNSS" in Shanghai. (News from Sina)

2004.8.16, IPv9 & DNSS technology introduce at MANETIC.ORG in Macau

2004.9, the DNSS SurveIllant System won the New Science and Technology Certification.
CNC and other 8 IT leader companies applied to join DNSS Workgroup.

2004.10.4, Science and Technology Development Committee (Macau) submit the plan of establishing DNSS Center in Macau. (See Oct. 5 Macau Daily) and (Oct.5 Vaiko)
